Research Projects tend to be of duration exceeding three months. These topics may arise from immersion experiences but may also result from emerging customer requirements or be proposed as novel and having innovative potential. Several follow-on research projects have grown from this programs. Examples are in the areas of structures and mechanics, computer aided design/manufacturing, environmental management, and information technology. |
